爸爸生日快樂！這首《父親》是十幾年前的老歌了。坦白說，以你現在朝氣蓬勃的精神狀態來說，唱這首歌給你似乎有些矯情，但是專門寫給父親的歌曲實在太少，所以當我找到了這首歌時，就決定是它了。
其實雖然我們現在的生活沒有什麼遺憾，但有些歌詞還是寫得挺應景的，比方說，從小到大，你和媽媽總是竭盡所有把最好的給我們。還有，每次打電話回家聽你聊工作的事，每達成一個里程碑，你總是輕描淡寫一語帶過，從不提背後無數的心血和努力。我自己在職場摸爬打滾好幾年後，才慢慢理解你有多麼不容易。

Happy birthday, Dad! “Father” is an old song from more than a decade ago. To be honest, this song doesn’t quite fit your current energetic, lively state of mind. However, there are few songs out there specifically written for fathers, so when I found out about this song, I decided to sing it for you.
Although our current lives are pretty good with little regrets, I still think some of the lyrics are very relevant. For example, throughout my whole life, you and Mom have always spared no effort to give us the best. Also, every time you talk about work when I call home, you always downplay your achievements and never mention the countless hard work behind the scene. After being in the workplace for several years myself, I finally start to understand what it takes for you to accomplish everything you have done.
I hope you are proud of me and never have to worry about me. I also hope you are always safe, happy, and healthy.
