I visited Tanzania in late August to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro and do a safari with Callisto, Andy, and Conrad. My trip was truly exceptional — it was my first time ever in Africa, and the experience touched me deeply. Just like the past 9 years, I wanted to do something new and meaningful for my birthday, and my trip to Tanzania exceeded my expectations in every possible way.

I chose to camp at Burney Falls for my 32nd birthday in honor of some of my best friends. Birthday wish this year: be the best version of myself and continue to care for the people around me. I hope this will eventually bring me to where I want to be.

Physical Therapy | 復健
Ever since I started to climb hard last fall, I have been suffering from all kinds of injuries, big and small. The worst one happened at the end of April, and I have been doing physical therapy since then.

This weekend, I went to Tahoe for the first time this year to learn how to mountaineer. Mentally, I feel ready for Shasta because I know why I am doing this. I am doing it for myself as well as for the people I love and care so much about.

1 Year @ Visa | 在 Visa 的一年
It’s hard to believe that I have already been at Visa for a year. If my mom can see me from Heaven, I hope she is proud of me for trying to be my best self every day, just like what she used to do all the time.

Obsession | 狂熱
If I have to use a phrase to describe how 2023 has been going for me so far, it’s my obsession with climbing, running, hiking, and being active in general. I don’t know where my obsession is going to take me, but I am truly thankful for the experience, and most importantly, for those who keep me company on this incredible journey.
